Laura Clark - glass

Laura Clark is a fused glass artist who lives in Irvine, Ayrshire. Laura graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2002 with an Honours Degree in Visual Communication. From here, she moved onto working with glass as a medium using art glass, metals and powders to create her own unique kiln-formed fused glassware including tableware, wall art and jewellery. Laura’s designs are strikingly contemporary combining the use of soft and sympathetic tonal colour ranges with flowing shapes and patterns to create wonderfully unique pieces of glass art. She finds the expressive inspiration for each piece naturally suggests itself based upon the choice of materials, or design themes, moods and ambiances requested by clients.
